Elite Boys Travel Lacrosse in Atlanta

Tryout Schedule Updated

Due to holiday travel schedules, tryouts for the 2012 teams have been revised.

New dates and times for open tryouts are:

Sunday, January 8 from 2:00pm-4:00pm, check in @ 1:00pm
Sunday, January 15 from 2:00pm-4:00pm, check in @ 1:00pm

There has been much interest in ATL fielding two high school teams and a U15 team this coming summer.  We are happy that the program is growing and will accommodate as many teams as possible provided that they have ample player participation and are competitive.  This tryout is open to anyone who is not a graduating senior and standard U-15 rules apply for summer play.  2010 and 2011 ATL players please plan on attending as well.

**Players must bring all equipment**

Keep up-to-date via our website and facebook as these dates approach and pass the word onto all your lacrosse friends.

Any questions....don't hesitate to email Coach Landry.

ATL - 2011 Seminole Challenge Champions

Congratulations to the High School ATL team as they return home the Champions of the High School B division.  The team won all their division games and ended the tournament with a convincing victory over the Swamp Hogs.

Tournament Reminders

Please email any questions to Kevin Carlson.

  • Food:  Please bring enough food for you and your family.  There aren't really any places nearby to go grab lunch at many tournaments. A suitable lunch for long days of lacrosse tournaments should consist of things like fruit, vegetables, light sandwiches (turkey, ham, etc.).
  • Water:  Please bring enough water for you and your family and especially your player.  Most tournaments have water jugs on the sidelines of the games but the boys will need to drink plenty between games to stay hydrated.
  • Shelter:  ATL will have a canopy set up in the team area that is primarily for the players and coaches to stay out of the sun between matches. If you have a pop-up canopy that you can bring for additional shelter, please feel free to do so!  It would be much appreciated.  Bring your own chairs.
  • Parking:  Parking at most tournaments is plentiful, but arrive early to avoid a long walk.  At some tournaments you can ask the parking attendants if you can drop off players and bags near the fields if the nearer parking spots are taken.  Also, if you leave a prime parking space at lunch, expect to get some exercise when you come back...
  • Supervision:  During the tournament, Mark, Geoff and Jon are going to be busy coaching ATL and scouting the competition. Please understand that they cannot supervise the players between games and that parents are required to be there with their players.  Coaches are unable to provide supervision between games for several reasons, including other time commitments during the tournament.
